While researching foods that may benefit my body, I found that berries are high in antioxidants, may cut belly fat, may help with inflammation, metabolism, etc. They are also low in calories.
A smoothie is a quick way to enjoy and reap the benefits of the world of berries.

Berry Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
- 1 handful of spinach leaves
- 10-15 frozen berries (add more if desire) of your choice
- 1/2 -1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Each smoothie consists of the same ingredients except for the berries of your preference. Add the ingredients a few at a time and mix until your liking of thickness. You can add a little water if the texture is too thick for you.
Have a very berry day! Enjoy!
Oh yum, and I have all these ingredients in my fridge!! I am going to try one tomorrow! 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today, JcCee. I’m having a good click around yours. Don’t you just love being able to throw that handful of spinach in the smoothie? You don’t even notice it’s there, and it’s a nice way to get some fresh greens. These look absolutely delicious. Love your front page.
You’re welcome, Elen. I enjoyed your blog also. I love your photos and writing. Yes, it’s also a great way to get my husband and kids to eat spinach lol. Thank you so much for the kind words, and thank you for taking a look at my blog 🙂
Mmm exact recipe I’m using except I use 2% instead of almond. I guess I need to research this almond milk, is it way better for you?
I just found out about almond milk myself. Right now, I only use it in smoothies. Sometimes I alternate between almond milk and Greek yogurt in my smoothies. Yes, look into the benefits of almond milk. One cup is about 30 calories (unsweetened). I have found that it is a healthier substitute for milk.
Excellent thank you! Keep up the great work by the way, 30lbs down is a great accomplishment!
You’re welcome! 🙂 Thank you so much!!! 🙂 🙂
Hey JcCee good work, congrats.
Thanks so much!! 🙂
